A Mon-Mon

1. Once a month pedicures

2. Every three weeks manicure/rebase

3. At least 8 hours of sleep a night (yeah, right!)

4. Sex often.

5. Peanut butter kisses

6. Lots of laughter

7. Every 6-8 weeks hair cut and style

8. A shoe sale – no wait, a GOOD shoe sale

9. One hour massage once a month

10. Serious paryting at least one night of the weekend

11. No commuting! (yeah, right)

12. A good ribbing – either giving or getting.

13. Good old loving… the old fashioned kind

1. I slept in an extra hour and still made it into work by 7am.

2. I scratched Niki’s head and chin and rubbed his right claw… and he liked it!

3. I left Jeff-Jeff snoring lightly in bed as I left the house.

4. I caught up work left over from a hellish yesterday.

5. I made a pot of coffee and drank two cups.

6. I talked with Jeff-Jeff on the phone.

7. I cleaned up my work area because it was a mess.

8. I ate a banana.

9. I pretended to care during a project meeting to review the design/development of our new statement design.

10. I went to lunch with two of my coworkers and talked about sex while we ate Mexican food.

11. I talked and laughed with Jeff-Jeff again.

12. I ran a screen scrape macro on our 9xx cards three times because I forgot to save the right files for the macro.

13. I drove home in heavy traffic… and kissed Jeff-Jeff hello when I got home!

Did In 2007: A Countdown

13. I got another new job because I was seriously under-utilized at my last one.

12. I went back to school – under a new major.

11. I started writing again… baby steps in my writing but it’s a start.

10. I lost a really good friendship over what seems a petty reason… and yet there was more underneath the surface than that petty reason.

9. I forgave myself finally for a major screw up from my past.

8. I started talking to my eldest brother – and learned even “bad” people feel regret too.

7. I found a really strong community of poly folk and continue to grow with them as I question life, love and all those really important subjects.

6. I flew to Saint Louis to pick up our amazing Amazon birds and drove back to Denver with them in the Jeep… with Jeff too.

5. I gave up on ridiculous and hopeless daydreams and learned to focus on what was real.

4. I made friends with a really cool gal in Saint Louis who is HOT and FUNNY too.

3. I went on a Chicago trip with a my good friend from Nebraska and had a fun, fun time.

2. I was given an awesome trip to Jamaica – what an amazing experience!

1. I’m still with my Jeff-Jeff through the good times and the bad.

Mon-Mon Loves About

Moxi and Digeo (The Kitties)

1. They like to snuggle.

2. They fight with each other.

3. One word – catnip.

4. They fall off the window sills.

5. They fight over the kitty tower – even though both of them are too big for the tower.

6. They race through the house and it sounds like we have a herd of horses – not two almost 9-month old kittens.

7. They are fascinated by the parrots – but have yet to attack either of them.

8. They sleep in the most interesting positions.

9. They finally sleep through the night instead of waking us up!

10. They are extremely interested in everything we do…. like drying our hair or getting ice out of the ice machine.

11. They clean up food spills.

12. They let us take them outside on leashes.

13. Because they love me!
