I crossed off the ones I’ve accomplished – but notice how many I didn’t cross off – and I’m hitting the big 3-6 this year! Are you surprised – or not?

(On a side note, I think 36 is so sexy! I’ve looked forward to 36 for awhile now…)

1. If you’re straight, kiss someone of the same gender. If you’re gay, kiss someone of the opposite sex. Hey, you never know until you try.

2. Do it in a bathroom stall at a bar.

3. Amass a collection of sex toys to pleasure yourself – and your partners – with.

4. Learn how to bring yourself to orgasm in less than three minutes.

5. Have at least one steamy vacation fling with someone who doesn’t speak your language.

6. Pee on someone, or get peed on.

7. Have all your favorite smut sites bookmarked and ready at the touch of a button.

8. Give or get anal sex the right way (i.e. without being wasted, with lots of lube!)

9. Master the art of mind-blowing head.

10. Have sex on ecstasy.

11. Have a fuck buddy on retainer.

12. Have steamy sex with an ex.

13. For the ladies: Buy sexy lingerie just for yourself, and wear it alone when you’re feeling frisky.

14. Stop comparing your sex life with your friends’. I’ve actually never done this…

15. Ask for the brand of condoms you want in a loud voice at the drugstore with no shame.

16. Let someone tie you up.

17. Turn down sex with someone you dig – just to make ’em wait.

18. Sleep with a much younger person (nobody underage, perv).

19. Sleep with someone much older.

20. Get tested for STDs – and do it on a regular basis.

21. Visit a strip club or peep show with your partner.

22. Masturbate in your office bathroom.

23. Have sex with someone you hate but think is hot.

24. Make another person’s fantasy come true.

25. Try at least one Internet date.

26. Use a webcam to get down and dirty with a faraway friend.

Should Be In Bed

1. She’s been up since 4am.

2. She worked her ass off at boot camp class today.

3. She ended her work day with a stressful meeting where people were yelling.

4. She left work with the beginnings of a migraine.

5. She then went to happy hour at Croc’s where her friend, Jason, works.

6. She had two Vodka-7s w/ lime.

7. The she went to the Samba room with Jason to say hi to his love, Jeremy – and had another Vodka-7.

8. Her head still hurts – despite taking ibuprofen, aceteminophen, and Aleve (not all at once).

9. She has to get up to go to work tomorrow morning.

10. She has to get up early enough to take out the trash.

11. She’s tired. (wow that makes too much sense!)

12. She really likes sleep.

Thirteen Things

Mon-Mon’s
Brother

1. He preferred being bald.

2. He had a terrific, if somewhat odd, sense of humor.

3. He only recently got sick – prior to this past year (and his previous bout with leukemia) he was quite healthy.

4. He loved to cook.

5. He loved his wife – a lot.

6. He loved his family too – though we were all estranged.

7. He did some really bad things for a really long time – and regretted it.

8. He didn’t really change as a person – rather he gave up selfish and destructive behaviors that affected who he was to himself and everyone around him.

9. It took him many, many years to realize what he needed to do – what was the right thing to do.

10. He didn’t want to die, and yet he was tired of the pain.

11. He took over 15 medications daily in the end.

12. Snowball lived – through him – because of him, she will never be forgotten.

13. Because of him, I found a little part of myself I didn’t know I was missing.

Where Have You Been, Mon?

Rest assured, dear reader. I am alive and well. I’m pretty freaking fabulous actually.

Just busy, busy, busy. School started again, and I’m taking two classes this semester. Work has been in-sane for the last month. Then, of course, there is the rest of life.

A few things I will post on in the near future:

- our trip in January to St. Louis

- my sick brother

- my new counseling class at school – way touchy-feely

- my online structured problem solving class and the huge amount of homework it requires

- some new friends

- my niece moving to California

- the kitties

- my cousin talking classes at Metro too

- my desire for a new car

Today I have a special guest blogger – my love, Jeff-Jeff. Enjoy!

1. I wish we could have spent more time hanging out with Kendra, Z, and Gina. They are awesome.

2. I miss Jenny D the most. Love you, babe!

3. It’s shocking to me that I have become a cat person. A cold winter’s morning, one bed, and three kitties snuggling with me & Mon-Mon.

4. After 17 years in the cable industry, it still amazes me at the resources, manpower, and money that is spent on this product. It’s just TV, people–and most of its content is pure bunk.

5. Though none of the extended vacations for this year are booked yet, I just know that Mon-Mon and I will have a fantastic time.

6. There are many things about St. Louis I miss, though “St. Louis Style” pizza is not one of them. I don’t know how but that town has ruined a near-perfect food.

7. What is the cutest thing in the world? Monica posing for a picture. What’s cuter than that? Watching Monica gush over a pretty girl.

8. Fuck coach. Flying First or Business Class rocks!

9. I’m seriously thinking about putting JR’s on the calendar for at least a once-a-month visit. Every time we go there, we always meet new people and have a blast.

10. “Green Acres” is sophomoric. “Green Acres” is stupid. “Green Acres” is, for my money, the funniest tv show ever. C’mon…you know you want to sing it now…

11. Famous people I want to kiss: Drew Barrymore, Christina Ricci, Sara Evans, Rose McGowan. Famous people whose feet I want to worship: Sarah McLachlan.

12. Making out is hot. We should do it sometime.

13. As long as I’m a part of this planet, I will never, NEVER understand the female obsession with shoes.

Did Today

1. I slept in an extra hour and still made it into work by 7am.

2. I scratched Niki’s head and chin and rubbed his right claw… and he liked it!

3. I left Jeff-Jeff snoring lightly in bed as I left the house.

4. I caught up work left over from a hellish yesterday.

5. I made a pot of coffee and drank two cups.

6. I talked with Jeff-Jeff on the phone.

7. I cleaned up my work area because it was a mess.

8. I ate a banana.

9. I pretended to care during a project meeting to review the design/development of our new statement design.

10. I went to lunch with two of my coworkers and talked about sex while we ate Mexican food.

11. I talked and laughed with Jeff-Jeff again.

12. I ran a screen scrape macro on our 9xx cards three times because I forgot to save the right files for the macro.

13. I drove home in heavy traffic… and kissed Jeff-Jeff hello when I got home!

Did In 2007: A Countdown

 

13. I got another new job because I was seriously under-utilized at my last one.

12. I went back to school – under a new major.

11. I started writing again… baby steps in my writing but it’s a start.

10. I lost a really good friendship over what seems a petty reason… and yet there was more underneath the surface than that petty reason.

9. I forgave myself finally for a major screw up from my past.

8. I started talking to my eldest brother – and learned even “bad” people feel regret too.

7. I found a really strong community of poly folk and continue to grow with them as I question life, love and all those really important subjects.

6. I flew to Saint Louis to pick up our amazing Amazon birds and drove back to Denver with them in the Jeep… with Jeff too.

5. I gave up on ridiculous and hopeless daydreams and learned to focus on what was real.

4. I made friends with a really cool gal in Saint Louis who is HOT and FUNNY too.

3. I went on a Chicago trip with a my good friend from Nebraska and had a fun, fun time.

2. I was given an awesome trip to Jamaica – what an amazing experience!

1. I’m still with my Jeff-Jeff through the good times and the bad.

Thinks You Should Read

1. The Beautiful Kind: This blog is my absolute favorite blog. The content is amazing, the writing is fabulous, and the author is gorgeous. She is edgy, witty, and keeps me wondering what she is going to post next. I am confident she will not run out of ideas anytime soon. Her sense of humor captivates me… almost as much as her panties! I gots me two pair now, thanks to Jeff. A must read – why aren’t you there now?

2. See Gina Blog: This was the second blog I read, but I actually knew the person who wrote the blog! It was an important moment for me because she inspired me to create a blog. I love Gina’s opinions – she is candid and honest… all the things I love and adore. Plus, she has a creative side and is a wonderful photographer. At my old job, I would peruse her pictures plenty.

3. Stiletto Diaries: My favorite poly blog by a true-blue poly person. Shasta is also very honest and forthcoming in her blogs, and I look forward to new posts from her on a regular basis. Plus, she’s super cute and fun to chat with late at night.

4. Adventures In Multiplicity: I love to read about this woman’s adventures and to see what books she’s read.

5. Barmaid Blog: This blog is just damn interesting. Another strong, proud woman… I am a regular reader.

6. ChubbyHubby: My first male run blog and also my first food blog. He takes awesome pictures of food and makes interesting recipes I’ll probably never make… still I’m hooked.

7. Dooce: This is the first blog I ever read. This woman is funny as hell. Her tongue in cheek, no topic is barred approach to blogging keeps me coming back for me every time.

8. Waiter Rant: My second male blogger… I like his writing style and find his outlook on his career eye opening. He is an up and coming writer, and I can’t wait to read him when he’s published.

9. Our Poly Life One of my favorite poly blogs by a quad… a poignant read.

10. Spread Eagle in LA: One of my new reads… intriguing girl.

11. Polyamorously Perverse: is another blog-look into a couple exploring polyamory together… honest and open.

12. Karaoke Diva: I visited for the name and stayed for the content.

13. Pussy Galore: This chick is super funny… seriously one of the best bloggers on My Space… so if you have an account, stop by and read this one… I guarantee you will be laughing.
